Increasing the presence of women in sports coaching and leadership is not a symbolic gesture—it is a critical driver of systemic development and quality within our national sports landscape. Yet, Austrian sports face persistent barriers, including a scarcity of role models, limited accessibility, and underdeveloped career pathways for female coaches. Cultivating greater gender diversity in these positions enriches federation and club cultures, enhances sport management and talent promotion, and broadens public communication perspectives.
